| While this picture jumps ahead a bit in the chronology, it is being used to illustrate the final button layout. The red buttons are always the primary fire/action button, blue second, and so on. Player one is both the center and the left stick, so three first and second buttons exist for the first player due to the left stick being arranged for ambidextrous play. The two black buttons in the center are the coin buttons and are accompanied by their corresponding one and two player start buttons.
